The new Nightwing by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo Omnibus Vol.1 collects the start of the pair’s fan-favorite run on the title.
The Omnibus collects Nightwing #78-100, Nightwing Annual #2021, Batman: Urban Legends #10 and Superman: Son of Kal-El #9.
Along with Taylor and Redondo, the collection also includes work by Geraldo Borges, Robbi Rodriguez, Daniel HDR, Cian Tormey, Neil Edwards, Rick Leonardi, Caio Filipe, Raul Fernandez, Wade Von Grawbadger, Jordi Tarragona, Andy Lanning, and Scott Hanna.
Taylor and Redondo put Dick Grayson back in his traditional Nightwing costume, moved him back to his adopted city of Bludhaven, reunited him with Barbara Gordon, and introduced a new archrival for the former Robin in the form of Heartless.
DC plans to release a second Nightwing Omnibus volume in the future to complete the run. Taylor continued to write Nightwing through Nightwing #113 with a variety of other artists and Redondo (in Nightwing #105) before finishing off their run together in the “Fallen Grayson” storyline in Nightwing #114-118.
The Omnibus also includes a new introduction by Taylor, commentary by Redondo, and an extensive behind-the-scenes art gallery.
Nightwing by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo Omnibus Vol.1 consists of 624 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
