Steve Rude and Mike Baron’s Nexus: The Coming of Gourmando returns to Kickstarter in a new oversize trade paperback edition almost as big as Gourmando himself!
The 2023 release measures 9″x12″ and arrives with a new cover and an exclusive Kickstarter book plate on the inside of every pledged book signed by Rude.
The 200 page graphic novel also includes a sneak peek of the final colored pages of Volume Two: Battle for Thuneworld coming in May 2024 as a magazine size comic book followed by the hardcover and TPB in the summer 2024 (all designed as future Kickstarter campaigns).
Nexus: The Coming of Gourmando was originally published as a newspaper strip before being transformed into an oversized deluxe hardcover and trade paperback edition back in 2020.
Nexus: The Coming of Gourmando is currently available to back on Kickstarter for $30. Other levels include a Steve Rude Blind Bag (that includes a copy of the Gourmando 9″x12″ TPB, a Nexus T-shirt, randomly chosen original art, high-quality prints, a PDF of the 9×12 TPB, and extras for $150) and a Gourmando Artists Edition level (that includes the 12″x17″ artists edition hardcover, a Gourmando challenge coin, a single issue of the Nexus Newspaper strip, and a PDF of the updated TPB).
