New Mutants Omnibus Volume 3 contains The New Mutants #55-85, The New Mutants Annual #4, and a number of ancillary and crossover appearances in Spellbound #4, Power Pack #40, The Uncanny X-Men #231, X-Terminators #1-4, Marvel Comics Presents #22, Marvel Fanfare #55, Marvel Super Heroes (1990 #1, and X-Men: Odd Men Out (2008).
Louise Simonson and Bret Blevins serve as the primary creative team on the main title, with additional work by Chris Claremont, Terry Austin, Michael Higgins, Mark Gruenwald, Sue Flaxman, June Brigman, Jon J. The New Mutants team of this era was made up of Cannonball, Wolfsbane, Magik, Boom Boom, Warlock, Rictor, Sunspot, Bird Brain, and Mirage.
