New Edition of ‘Absolute Watchmen’ Available in December

The third edition of DC’s Absolute Watchmen returns to store shelves this December.

Previously released in 2005 and 2008 (and now bearing the Black Label designation), the edition collects Watchmen #1-12 by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons with remastered line art and coloring overseen by Gibbons and John Higgins.

In addition to the ground-breaking series, the Absolute Edition contains the same 48 pages of supplemental material originally produced exclusively for the Graphitti Designs Watchmen hardcover edition with extras such as script pages, the original series proposal, character designs, promotional art, and more.

The Absolute Watchmen hardcover (with slipcase) measures 8 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ and consists of 464 pages for a suggested retail price of $150.00 (double what it would have cost you in 2008).

Look for the new edition at your local comic shop on December 12.
