The Thing and Friends Team-Up in ‘Marvel Two-in-One: Two Against Hydra’ Epic Collection

The “ever-lovin’ blue-eyed” Thing is back for another series of classic 1970’s team-ups with a wide variety of Marvel stars in the Marvel Two-in-One: Two Against Hydra Epic Collection.

The second Two-in-One Epic Collection starts with a three-part Liberty Legion/Invaders time travel story in Marvel Two-in-One Annual #1, Fantastic Four Annual #11, and Marvel Two-in-One #20 and continues with Marvel Two-in-One #22-36 (only missing issue #21, due to the team-up with a no longer licensed Doc Savage).

All stories are written by Marv Wolfman, Roy Thomas, Bill Mantlo, and Jim Shooter, with block buster art by Ron Wilson, John Buscema, Sal Buscema, Marie Severin, Ernie Chan, Sam Grainger, Pablo Marcos, George Roussos, and John Tartaglione.

Ben Grimm shares the stage with Deathlok, Thor, Iron Fist, Black Goliath, Nick Fury, the Sub-Mariner, Shang-Chi, Spider-Woman, Mr. Fantastic, Modred the Mystic, Skull the Slayer, and Nighthawk, and as the title of the collection suggests, many of the stories revolve around a Hydra conspiracy that the Thing naturally finds himself in the middle of.

Marvel Two-in-One: Two Against Hydra Epic Collection consists of 376 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
