Marvel has been “on target” with the vast majority of their Disney+ series, and November’s Hawkeye looks to continue to hit the mark.
The new series (which starts streaming November 24 on Disney+ with the first two episodes) finds Clint Barton enjoying Christmas in New York with his family, before the ghosts of his past begin to haunt him.
Fans of Matt Fraction and David Aja’s 2015 Hawkeye series will catch a few quick visual references to their award winning comic, but it looks like the biggest take away from the source material is the introduction of the smart-mouthed Kate Bishop to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and Pizza Dog, of course).
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Eleanor Bishop, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and newcomer Alaqua Cox as William’s daughter (who portrays another new her to the MCU, Echo).
