‘Marvel Fanfare’ Omnibus Vol. 3 Completes Marvel’s Premiere Anthology Series

The third and final Marvel Fanfare Omnibus completes Marvel’s 1980s premier comic book anthology with another collection of cutting edge stories produced by the top writers and artists of the day.

The last Omnibus collects Marvel Fanfare #41-60 and features work by Bill Mantlo, Steve Gerber, Steven Grant, Steve Englehart, Walter Simonson, Ken Steacy, Mike W. Barr, Jo Duffy, Terry Austin, Carl Potts, Dave Gibbons, Michael Golden, John Buscema, Ken Steacy, Bret Blevins, Alan Weiss, Richard Howell, Mike Mignola, Gene Colan, Sandy Plunkett, Paul Smith, and Tony Dezuniga, among others.

Highlights in Marvel Fanfare Vol. 3 include: Gibbons and Simonson’s Doctor Strange tale, Gerber’s four-part Shanna epic, Buscema’s return to the Silver Surfer, and Mignola’s unique Namor yarn, the three-part “When Knights Were Bold” Black Knight story by Grant, an all-pinup issue featuring art by the likes of Arthur Adams, Jim Lee, and Barry Windsor-Smith, and stories starring Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, Fantastic Four, X-Factor, Power Pack, the New Mutants, and Black Panther.

Marvel Fanfare Omnibus Vol. 3 consists of 792 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
