The follow-up to the Origins of Marvel Comics, Son of Origins of Marvel Comics, is back for the collection’s 50th anniversary from Simon and Shuster’s Gallery 13 this October.
One of the first trade paperback collections of Marvel Comics seminal stories, and originally released by Fireside Books in 1975, collects Uncanny X-Men #1, Tales of Suspense #39 and 97, Avengers #1, Daredevil #1 and 47, Strange Tales #135, Fantastic Four #13, and Silver Surfer #1.
All stories are written by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with art by Jack Kirby, Don Heck, Gene Colan, Bill Everett, John Buscema, Paul Reinman, Frank Giacoia, Dick Ayers, George Klein, Syd Shores, and Joe Sinnott.
Marvel rereleased the Silver Age collection of origins in 1997 with a new cover by Gene Ha.
Son of Origins of Marvel Comics consists of 256 pages for a suggested cover price of $21.99.
