‘Marvel Age’ Omnibus Vol. 1 Presents Classic Interviews and Nostalgia

Marvel’s news, interviews, and promotions magazine of the 80s, Marvel Age, gets a new Omnibus collection.

Volume 1 collects Marvel Age #1-34 and Marvel Age Annual #1 from 1983 to 1985 and includes vintage interviews with John Byrne, Walt Simonson, Klaus Janson, Bob Layton, Mark Gruenwald, Stan Lee, Jim Shooter, Tom DeFalco, Louise Simonson, Mary Jo Duffy, Jim Starlin, Chris Claremont, Larry Hama, John Romita, Jr.,  Denny O’Neil, Steve Gerber, Bill Mantlo, Mike Carlin, Sergio Aragones, Mark Evanier, Wendy and Richard Pini, Bill Sienkiewicz, Dave Cockrum, Jackson Guice, Roger Stern, Doug Moench, and many more.

Along with all of the interviews, the collection revisits previews of all the major titles of the era, behind-the-scenes features, rare house ads, original covers and the parody cartoons of Fred Hembeck. The Marvel Age Omnibus Vol. 1 also includes a new introduction by Jim Salicrup.

The one comic story in the Omnibus is Marvel Age Annual #1’s jam story featuring tons of characters from all over the Marvel Universe.

The Marvel Age Omnibus Vol. 1 consists of 1,184 pages and for a suggested retail price of $125.00.

The Marvel Age Omnibus Vol. 1 comes with two covers by Kerry Gammill and Tom Morgan and Richard Howell and Joe Sinnott.
