DC Comics new Lobo collection is designed to acquaint readers with the Last Czarnian before his cinematic close-up in the upcoming Supergirl film.
Lobo: Back to Back collects 1990’s original self-titled, four-issue mini-series and 1992’s Lobo’s Back #1-4 by Keith Giffen, Alan Grant., and Simon Bisley.
The collection serves as an action-packed and irreverent primer for those that weren’t around when “the Main Man” initially rose to prominence and set the stage for many more satirical adventures throughout the 1990s.
If you are looking for even more Lobo, DC recently released the 1,256 page Lobo: Big Fraggin’ Compendium One in 2024.
A new Lobo ongoing series will also launch on March 18 by by Skottie Young and Jorge Corona.
Lobo’s big screen debut will take place on June 26 in Supergirl, an adaptation of Tom King, Bilquis Evely, and Mat Lopes Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow series.
The Lobo: Back to Back trade paperback consists of 216 pages for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
