As Halloween creeps up on us, The Hershey Company is launching their classic Milk Chocolate bars and miniature snack sized candies with the imprints of members of the Justice League’s symbols on the chocolate sections and individual wrappers featuring the heroes.
Bars feature Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Aquaman artwork on the wrappers (and an assortment of symbols on each chocolate section).
The company initially shared the bars with front line workers, sending the chocolate as a thank you for their efforts during the world-wide pandemic. Hershey has also donated over one million dollars “…to acquire, install and staff a new manufacturing line dedicated to the production of face masks.” The new assembly line is capable of producing up to 45,000 protective masks per day.
Michele Buck, president and CEO, of the company, stated that “Supporting our communities in difficult times is part of our legacy, and an important value that our current employees share. From the building projects that created local jobs during the Great Depression, to producing military rations during World War II, we take great pride in making a difference where we can.”
The Justice League-branded bars are currently available in stores across the country as single 1.55 oz bars and in 9.45 oz bags of assorted snack sized bars for trick-or-treaters (and those wanting a smaller portion of Hershey’s milk chocolate).
If you can’t find the bars at the check-out counter or in the Halloween candy section of your local store, the bars are available through the official Hershey website, including 12 and 36 packs of the full-sized bars.
