John Byrne’s retro X-Men: The Hidden Years series from the start of the 21st century gets a brand new Omnibus, collecting the entire series and filling in the gaps between X-Men #66 and Giant Size X-Men #1.
All 22 issues by Byrne and Tom Palmer are included, as well as Fantastic Four #102-104 by Stan Lee, Joe Sinnott, John Romita, Sr., John Verpoorten, and Jack Kirby, which included a super villain team-up between Namor and Magneto (which Byrne works into his Hidden Years timeline).
Some of the original team’s missing adventures include a trip to the Savage Land to apprehend Magneto, an Iceman solo story, a tragic tale involving Angel, Beast, Cyclops and Marvel Girl’s first encounter with Ororo Munroe, a space journey with the Fantastic Four, and battles against Sauron, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Promise, Sentinels, Kraven the Hunter, the Mole Man, and the Yeti.
X-Men: The Hidden Years Omnibus consists of 624 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
The Omnibus will be released on January 3, 2024.
