DC Comics continues the celebration of legendary artist Joe Kubert with Joe Kubert: 100 Years – A Life in Covers this September.
The special edition comic spans multiple decades of Kubert’s cover work for DC on titles such as The Brave and the Bold, House of Mystery, Sgt. Rock, Ragman, and many more.
The one-shot also includes a special foreword by Katie Kubert, offering a personal perspective on her grandfather’s enduring legacy.
“To many readers and fans, he helped shape not only a character, but a feeling…an emotion…and helped blossom a truly life-defining moment in their lives,” Kubert said. “To me, he is just Grandpa.”
DC will also release the Sgt. Rock by Joe Kubert: Deluxe Edition hardcover collection on the same day as A Life in Covers, featuring some of Kubert’s best Rock stories.
