Jim Zub and Roberto De La Torre Announced as Titan Comics New Creative Team for ‘Conan the Barbarian’ Series

Now that Conan has packed his bags for Titan Comics (in partnership with Heroic Signatures, who is the caretaker for all of Robert E. Howard’s ferocious characters), the company has announced the creative team for their first Conan the Barbarian comic.

The brand-new Conan the Barbarian ongoing series will arrive on August 2 and will be written by Conan alumni Jim Zub (who recently finished off Marvel’s series with issue #25 in late 2021) with art by Roberto De La Torre. Colors will be provided by José Villarrubia.

A Conan the Barbarian primer will be available on Free Comic Book Day 2023 (May 6) as part of the promotion of the new license and to serve as a preview for the continued adventures of everyone’s favorite Cimmerian.

Titan and Heroic Signatures have also announced that the popular omnibus collections will continue with the next installment, Savage Sword of Conan Volume 9, picking up where Marvel left off in 2022.
