‘Jaws’ NBC Airing Most Watched Program on June 15

Even though fans could watch Jaws (without commercials) on multiple different platforms and formats, the 50 year-old film still won the night on Friday, June 15.

NBC’s 50th Anniversary showing of Jaws brought in a 3.26 Nielsen rating, making it the most viewed program on broadcast and cable television on June 15.

If you missed the most recent TV listing, Jaws is currently streaming exclusively on NBC’s Peacock through July 14, along with all of the Jaws sequels.

Jaws is also available in a new 50th Anniversary Edition on Digital and in a Combo Pack (4K / Blu-ray / Digital) from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

The 50th Anniversary Edition will also include the new Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story documentary by Laurent Bouzereau. The documentary will debut on the National Geographic Channel on July 10 at 9:00 pm ET, followed by the film’s premiere on Disney+ and Hulu on July 11.
