Insight Editions Uncover Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ in Two New Books

Insight Editions brings fans two new books focused on Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster film The Odyssey this August and September.

First up is Filming the Odyssey: Inside the Making of Christopher Nolan’s Modern Epic by James Mottram on August 25. The hardcover book traces the creation of the film from script to IMAX screen, through exclusive interviews with the director, his cast, and his crew of visual artists, filled with on-set photos, concept art, and research materials.

Filming the Odyssey: Inside the Making of Christopher Nolan’s Modern Epic measures 11″ x 10″ and consists of 280 pages for a suggested retail price of $75.00.

You can also find one with an exclusive cover at Barnes & Noble (pictured below and also available a little earlier than the standard edition on August 11).

Next up is Mottram’s The World of the Odyssey: A Visual Journey hardcover due out on September 22.

The World of the Odyssey focuses on the classic narrative and the characters of The Odyssey, and features character profiles, key locations and items, and pivotal moments, including exclusive quotes from the director, cast, and crew, and a final chapter explaining a little more about the movie magic.

The World of the Odyssey: A Visual Journey measure 8.5″ x 11″ and consists of 144 pages for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
