The sequel to DC Comics classic Crisis on Infinite Earths, 2005’s Infinite Crisis, is once again available in a new hardcover edition.
The seven-issue series (by Geoff Johns, Phil Jimenez, George Pérez, Jerry Ordway, Ivan Reis, and Andy Lanning) shook up the status quo at DC and would have far reaching effects (at least until Flashpoint and the New 52 arrived in 2011) on the many heroes of the DC Universe.
Following Infinite Crisis, DC launched the One Year Later initiative (fast-forwarding all of the monthly comics one year into the future) and the weekly 52 comic series (which also helped pick up the pieces and highlighted new/revamped characters such as Black Adam, The Question, Adam Strange, Animal Man, and many others).
The Infinite Crisis hardcover collection was originally released in 2006. Four editions of the Infinite Crisis Omnibus have also been printed (which include the original series and Countdown to Infinite Crisis, Day of Vengeance #1-6, Day of Vengeance: Infinite Crisis Special, Rann/Thanagar War #1-6, Rann/Thanagar War: Infinite Crisis Special, The Omac Project #1-5, and Wonder Woman #219). The most recent edition of the Omnibus was released in 2022.
The Infinite Crisis hardcover collection consists of 264 pages for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
