Whenever a popular film that is based on a comic book hits the market, fans are bound to discuss how well it adapted the source material. Netflix just contributed to the discussion by posting a featurette that shows all of the hard work that went into making The Old Guard loyal to its source material.

Entitled “From Comics to Screen,” the clip begins with an introduction by Greg Rucka, the writer of the comic book. Later, Gina Prince-Bythewood, the director of the film, refers to the graphic novel as her bible, “both in story, but also in tone.”
