Heritage Auctions & The Hero Initiative Team Up for ‘Batman’ Cover Art Fundraiser Auctions

Contributing to The Hero Initiative is always a great way to score one of a kind items while helping comic creators in need, and the organization is kicking things up a notch with a new fundraiser auction collaboration with Heritage Auctions. This September, Heritage will auction off 110 Batman sketch covers with original artwork by industry legends such as Jim Lee, Frank Miller, Tim Sale, Adam Kubert, Dan Jurgens, Dan Brereton, and more. Dubbed The Batman 100 Project, all proceeds from these auctions will benefit The Hero Initiative.

The Hero Initiative announced on their official website that the entire gallery of original covers is now available for preview. Although bidding runs from September 13th through the 19th, fans can browse the catalog on the Heritage Auctions site now, and scout out the covers they might want to bid on when the auction goes live.

After the dust settles on these auctions, The Hero Initiative will launch a new book in November which will collect all of the artwork of The Batman 100 Project. The book will retail for $24.99, and it will start shipping on November 18th, 2020.
