‘Hellboy: The Roleplaying Game’ Goes Kickstarter Route this Summer

Mantic Games is partnering with Dark Horse Comics and creator Mike Mignola to bring Hellboy: The Roleplaying Game to life through a new Kickstarter campaign launching this summer.

Developed by Red Scar Publishing, Hellboy: The Roleplaying Game is being designed by ENnie Award-winning writer and game developer Marc Langworthy, who have already worked on Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000 AD Roleplaying Game and the Conan: Adventures in An Age Undreamed Of Roleplaying Game.

Unlike most Kickstarter campaigns, fans will actually get to preview them game through a detailed quickstart that (according to the official press release) “…features six pre-generated characters, all the rules needed to play, and a unique adventure inspired by the Hellboy graphic novels, written by Red Scar.”

Mantic Games has an excellent track record with kickstarter campaigns, having launched Hellboy: The Board Game in 2018.

If you want to be one of the first to pack the project, be sure to visit the official launch page here.

Be sure to come back to Conskipper for more updates on the new game and the further adventures of Hellboy and friends from Dark Horse Comics.
