Fans of Marvel’s Guardians of the the Galaxy will soon be able to experience a trip to Xandar and beyond starting in the summer of 2022 at EPCOT (Center) at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro broke the news during the “Connections: A Look at the Future of Disney Parks, Experience and Products” panel at the Destination: D23 Expo. According to the official description of the new thrill ride/roller coaster, “Guests will enter the new Wonders of Xandar pavilion via the Galaxarium and proceed through the Xandar Gallery, where they will learn more about the Xandarian people as well as the similarities that connect Earth and Xandar.”
And while we can probably trust the word of D’Amaro, why not get the news from Nova Prime herself, Glenn Close.
Outside of Xandar and Orlando, Disneyland Paris will be getting their own version of Disneyland’s Avengers Campus even earlier in March 2022 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the European park.
Check out the poster for Guardians of the Galaxy: Rewind (which stars all of the principal actors from the film series, similar to the original Guardians ride, Mission Breakout!, housed in Anaheim) below and stay tuned for more Guardians and Marvel theme park, movie, and comic news from Conskipper.
