Ghost Rider faces plenty of supernatural and human foes in the collection such as the Orb, the Gladiator, the Eel, the Enforcer, Trapster, the Phantom Eagle, Death Stalker, Stunt Master, the Water Wizard, the Manticore, Malice, and even a Great White Shark (Marvel’s attempt to cash in on Jaws fever, even referencing the film on the original cover).

The speedy devil also teams with many of Marvel’s heroes such as Daimon Hellstrom, the Son of Satan, his fellow Champions teammates (Angel, Black Widow, Hercules, and Ice Man), Hawkeye, Dr. Druid, the Two-Gun Kid, Daredevil, the Thing, and Spider-Man.

Salvation Run also includes the first appearance of the very popular, but seldom seen Legion of Monsters starring Ghost Rider, Man-Thing, Morbius and Werewolf by Night.
