‘From Comic to Screen: The Art of Supergirl’ Bridges the Comic and Film in New Book

From Comic to Screen: The Art of Supergirl by James Field, offers a curated look at Supergirl’s evolution across sequential art and film, starting with Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow series and extending through DC Studios’ upcoming feature film Supergirl.

The 224-page book includes concept art, production design, annotated script pages, and other never-before-seen materials that connect the comic and film, new interviews with the comic’s creators and the filmmakers, and an introduction by Jim Lee.

The book also takes a specific look at Evely’s artwork alongside storyboards and other images from the film.

Supergirl will be released on June 26.
