Batman Day 2025 is turning into a mini-Free Comic Book Day event this year, with four free Batman comics available to customers at participating comic shops on Saturday, September 20.
The four free comics include: Absolute Batman #1 (by Scott Snyder, with a new cover by Nick Dragotta, including for purchase foil and blank sketch variant cover versions), Batman & Robin Year One #1 (by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee), DC Finest: Batman: Year Two #1 Special Edition (which promotes DC’s new trade paperback collection line with a reprint edition of Detective Comics #575, and a for purchase foil variant), and the Batman: Gotham Sampler Batman Day 2025 Special Edition (with previews of the upcoming Batman #1 by Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez, Red Hood #1 by Gretchen Felker-Martin and Jeff Spokes, and looks at the ongoing Nightwing, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman titles).
Fans will also be able to purchase a Batman Day 2025 Hush 20th Anniversary Edition Variant Dust jacket Hardcover (with a new cover by Jim Lee) for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
