Conclusion of Ed Brubaker’s ‘Captain America’ Run Back in Stores in ‘Return of Winter Soldier’ Omnibus

The culmination of Ed Brubaker’s run on Captain America is available once again in November in the Captain America: Return of the Winter Soldier Omnibus.

The re-issued edition (originally available in 2015) collects Captain America and Bucky #620-628, Fear Itself: Captain America #7.1, Winter Soldier #1-14, and Captain America #11-19.

In addition to Brubaker, the collections includes stories penned by Marc Andreyko, James Asmus and Cullen Bunn, with art by Chris Samnee, Francesco Francavilla, Butch Guice, Michael Lark, Patrick Zircher, Scot Eaton, Steve Epting, Mike Deodato, Brian Thies, Stefano Gaudiano and Rick Magyar. The final Brubaker storylines pick up after the events of Fear Itself, and find James “Bucky” Barnes back in his Winter Soldier uniform, right in time to deal with a slew of Russian sleeper agents. Old enemies resurface with new identities as well, and the Winter Soldier and Black Widow clash with Dr. Doom. Bucky also teams up with Wolverine and Hawkeye along the way, while Captain America takes on Scourge, the Discordians, and a mystery villain from the past.

The Captain America: Return of the Winter Soldier Omnibus consists of 752 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
