Dark Horse Comics bring back the classic comic adventurers of swashbucklers, plunderers, and scurvy dogs in the trade paperback edition of EC Archives: The Complete Piracy.
EC Archives: The Complete Piracy collects 1954’s Piracy #1-7 by Carl Wessler, Al Feldstein, Jack Oleck, Reed Crandall, Wally Wood, Al Williamson, Angelo Torres, Jack Davis, Bernie Krigstein, George Evans, Graham Ingles, Marie Severin, and Carlos Badilla.
The sea-drenched examples of the “new” EC trajectory away from the horror and crime titles that would eventually spell their doom begins with an introduction by Grant Geissman and a foreword by Greg Nicotero.
The short-lived seven-issue series was originally collected in a hardcover edition in 2019 by Dark Horse Comics.
EC Archives: The Complete Piracy consists of 232 pages for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
