Zak Bagans takes viewers around the world to explore the world’s eeriest and most cursed locations in the new Discovery Channel series Destinations of the Damned with Zak Bagans.
The new series premieres close to the witching hour on Wednesday, October 2 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
Bagans acts as the host/narrator of the series, as he sends a documentary film crew around the globe to connect with resident eyewitnesses and paranormal practitioners, exploring the region’s local legends, historic mysteries, diverse cultural beliefs, and real-life tragedies, while attempting to substantiate claims of hauntings, possessions and curses.
The premiere episode sends the crew to Armero, Colombia, where thousands perished due to a volcanic eruption in 1985, which some locals believe was the initiated by the murder of a priest that cursed the region.
Other locations on the first season include a Malaysian mansion, an Italian asylum, a former hotel in the Philippines, a Czech Republic castle, and a mystical island in Singapore.
