Michael Giacchino, the director of Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation Werewolf by Night, will write a new one-shot comic starring the furry anti-hero in Werewolf by Night: Blood Moon Rise in July.
Giacchino is joined by artist David Messina on the comic, which is set in Marvel’s comic universe, and the writer said, “It could be a lost story from the original run, in a way. There’s a fun twist to it that I think is going to be really interesting for people who are into Jack Russell and that lore.”
Werewolf by Night: Blood Moon Rise pits the wolf against Dracula once again and also contains a backup story by current Werewolf by Night writer Jason Loo which explores the character’s long comic history and future.
Check out Tyler Kirkham’s cover below, and a sneak peak at the first few pages, and look for the comic in stores on July 30.
