DC Comics continues to produce fan-favorite tabloid-sized facsimile editions and they have finally gotten around to the first one dedicated to Batman.
Originally released in 1974, Batman: Limited Collectors’ Edition #C-25 features six stories written by Bill Finger, Don C. Cameron, John Broome, Mike Friedrich and Denny O’Neil. Artwork is provided by Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson, Dick Sprang, Carmine Infantino, Neal Adams, Irv Novick, and Dick Giordano.
The six stories include three Golden Age stories, one Silver Age story, and two from the Bronze Age, including “Ghost of the Killer Skies” which teamed Batman with Enemy Ace.
Other highlights include the return of the Clown Prince of Crime in “The Case of the Joker’s Crime Circus” and the harrowing tale of the “The Case Batman Failed to Solve!”
The facsimile edition is available in a standard format and a foil variant.
