DC Comics Comic-Con@Home 2021 Panels Will Focus on ‘Batman: Fear State’, DC Horror, Superman, and Wonder Woman

While comic conventions are starting to take place in-person around the country, the granddaddy of all comic convention, San Diego Comic Con, will continue as a virtual event this summer, and DC Comics will be bringing out the big guns for fans watching around the globe.

DC’s line-up includes all of the major publishing initiatives and characters one would expect at a Comic Con, with panels about the upcoming Batman event Batman: Fear Street, DC’s new horror imprint, the Dark Nights: Death Metal soundtrack, and updates on Superman and Wonder Woman’s latest comic adventures.

Friday, July 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. PT/4 pm. ET
Gotham Group Editor Ben Abernathy brings together a rogues gallery of writers and artists to talk about what’s upcoming for everyone’s favorite Caped Crusader in Batman: Fear State. Joining Ben are John Ridley (The Other History of the DC Universe), Mariko Tamaki (Dark Detective), James Tynion IV (Batman), Stephanie Phillips (Batman: Urban Legends, Harley Quinn) and Tom Taylor (Batman: The Detective, Nightwing).

Tune in to hear what’s coming from Becky Cloonan (Wonder Woman), Michael Conrad (Wonder Woman), Stephanie Williams (Wonder Woman 1984), and Alitha Martinez (Immortal Wonder Woman).

An in-person “mini” Comic-Con Special Edition will take place this November, from November 26-28. Details are still emerging about capacity and according to the event’s organizers, other aspects are “…still being finalized” and “badge cost, attendance capacity, and related information will be forthcoming.”
