DC Comics ‘Absolute Martian Manhunter’ Takes Most Wins at 2026 Eisner Awards

Martians and comic readers everywhere were pleased with the results of this year’s Eisner Awards, with DC’s Absolute Martian Manhunter taking home four top honors at the annual event.

Absolute Martian Manhunter (by Deniz Camp, Javier Rodriguez, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou) won 2026 awards for Best Limited Series, Best Penciller/Inker, Best Cover Artist, and Best Lettering.

DC’s hit series Absolute Batman won for Best One-Shot/Single Issue (for Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1 by Daniel Warren Johnson, James Harren, and Meredith McClaren) and for Best Continuing Series (by Scott Snyder.

Other notable winners included Mariko Tamaki for Best Writer and Best Publication for Teens (for This Place Kills Me by Tamaki and Nicole Goux) and Camp again for Best New Series ( for Image Comics Assorted Crisis Events by Camp and Eric Zawadsk).
