DC Comics collected the lion’s share of Eisner Award nominations for 2026 with a total of 16 nominations.
DC’s Absolute Universe was very well represented with six nominations for Absolute Martian Manhunter, five nominations for Absolute Batman, and four for Absolute Wonder Woman.
Fantagraphics followed DC with 14 nominations and Image Comics came in third with a total of 12 nominations.
Deniz Camp lead the way with five nominations for Absolute Martian Manhunter and Assorted Crisis Events. James Tynion IV garnered four nominations and Juni Ba, Javier Rodriguez, Jesse Lonergan, Linnea Sterte, Kelly Thompson, and Eric Zawadski were each nominated three times.
This year’s nominees (in 32 categories) represent over 170 print and online titles from 75 different publishers.
