DC Announces Batman Day 2023 Comics and Graphic Novels

DC Comics is releasing five different Batman comic books and graphic novels to celebrate this year’s Batman Day on Saturday, September 16.

Fans can pick up special Batman Day exclusive versions of comics such as Chip Zdarsky, Tini Howard, and Mike Hawthorne’s Batman/Catwoman: Prelude to Gotham War, featuring a 10-page original prelude story and preview pages from Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War: Battle Lines #1 and Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo #1 by Marc Silvestri.

The first issue of Rafael Grampá’s DC Black Label series Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham will also be released on September 16 (and you can read more about his highly anticipated series right here).

Old school fans (and those that missed these issues back in the day) can pick up the start of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s “Hush” Storyline with a brand new foil cover version of Batman #608. Fans of retro action can also buy a hardcover collection of Batman screenwriter Sam Hamm and Joe Quinones’ recent Batman ’89 series, with a new Tim Burton-style Bat-Symbol on the cover.

And if you are looking for more Batman news before the big day arrives, be sure to check out all of Conskipper’s Batman content.
