IDW continues their popular Artist’s Edition series with the groundbreaking reinterpretation of Batman’s origin by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli in David Mazzucchelli’s Batman Year One collection.
The 14″ x 21″ format replicates the size of the pages that the original story was drawn on in 1986, the seminal follow-up to Miller’s Dark Knight Returns which pictures a rookie crime fighter learning his craft the hard way on the mean streets of Gotham.
The Artist’s Edition includes the complete graphic novel (originally presented in Batman #404–407) and a new introduction by David Mazzucchelli.
David Mazzucchelli’s Batman Year One Artist’s Edition consists of 144 pages for a suggested retail price of $150 (available on August 14).
