‘Daredevil’ Omnibus Vol. 2 Collects More Silver Age Adventures of the Man Without Fear

The latest Daredevil Omnibus continues the earliest tales of the guardian of Hell’s Kitchen.

The Daredevil Omnibus Vol. 2 contains Daredevil #42-74 and Iron Man #35-36.

The stories in the Omnibus are written by Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, Gerry Conway, and Allyn Brodsky, with the majority of the art by Gene Colan. The other artists represented in the collection include Barry Windsor-Smith, Don Heck, Dan Adkins, Vince Colletta, George Klein, Johnny Craig, Syd Shores, and Mike Esposito.

The second Man Without Fear Omnibus contains an assortment of trouble for Matt Murdock in both the streets and in the courtroom (not to mention continued romantic drama from Karen Page). The Omnibus also includes Murdock’s first West Coast adventures in Los Angeles, before he makes his way back to the Big Apple.

Daredevil join forces with Iron Man and Nick Fury against Spymaster and the Zodiac in a brief crossover and also includes some early team-ups with the Black Panther.

And in terms of villains, as usual, DD takes on a plethora of odd and sometimes formidable foes such as the Jester, Mr. Hyde, the Owl, the Cobra, Stilt-Man, Stunt-Master, and Mr. Fear.

The Daredevil Omnibus Vol. 2 consists of 800 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.

Volume 2 also comes in two different cover by Colan and Klein and Colan and Shores.
