Any fan of Daredevil knows that it is almost impossible to keep Matt Murdock down, and the “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen” will soon get a second lease on life with a new series at Disney+.
Variety broke the news in an exclusive report that also named Matt Corman and Chris Ord as writers and executive producers on the relaunch, which will also naturally star Charlie Cox.
With Cox appearing as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in the recent Hawkeye series, it is probably no surprise that Marvel Studios had plans for the return of one of their most popular Netflix series and characters.
Corman and Ord co-created the USA Network series Covert Affairs, which aired for five seasons from 2010 and 2014. The duo more recently worked together as executive producers and co-showrunners on NBC’s The Enemy Within and The Brave, and Containment for The CW.
