Daredevil is the ‘King of Hell’s Kitchen’ in New Modern Era Epic Collection

David Mack and Brian Michael Bendis complete their run on Daredevil and Bendis and Alex Maleev start theirs in the new King of Hell’s Kitchen Modern Era Epic Collection.

The new volume (with stories from 2003 to 2004) collects Daredevil #51-65 and the What If Karen Page Had Lived? one-shot.

In addition to Mack and Maleev, other artists represented in the Epic Collection include Michael Golden, Greg Horn, P. Craig Russell, Phil Hester, Ande Parks, Chris Bachalo, Tim Townsend, Jae Lee, David Finch, Frank Quitely, and Michael Lark.

Highlights include the return of Echo and her origin story, as she attempts to piece together her conflicted feelings about Daredevil and Wilson Fisk. Daredevil also appoints himself the new Kingpin of Hell’s Kitchen, with plenty of challengers waiting in the wings. DD’s ex-partner, Black Widow, is also back on the scene to keep the streets clean.

Daredevil: King of Hell’s Kitchen Modern Era Epic Collection consists of 408 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
