‘Daredevil by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev’ Omnibus Vol. 1 Back for a Third Time

The third printing of the start of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev’s run on Daredevil returns from Hell’s Kitchen this August.

Daredevil by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev Omnibus Volume 1 starts in 2001 with Daredevil #16-19 (opening with Bendis’ original story arc with David Mack) and continues in #26-50 and #56-60 with the creative team who this collection is named after.

The Omnibus also contains art by Matt Hollingsworth, Manuel Gutierrez, Terry Dodson, Rachel Dodson, Mark Morales, and Joe Quesada.

Bendis and Maleev’s arc starts with a crime wave featuring all of the “Man Without Fear’s” worst enemies including the Owl, Mister Hyde, Bullseye, Typhoid, and the Kingpin.

Matt Murdock’s messy love life also rears its ugly head with appearances by the Black Widow, Elektra, and the introduction of his latest femme fatale: Echo.

Other highlights include the mystery of Leap-Frog story, the trial of the White Tiger, and help from Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and other surprises.

The introduction by Klaus Janson is also back in the new edition, which was previously published in 2008 and 2020.
