The hellish Cosmic Ghost Rider will blaze a path through space once again in March in a new series by Stephanie Phillips and Juann Cabal.
Created by Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw in 2018, the futuristic and damned version of Frank Castle has become a frequent guest star since debuting in Thanos #13 and continuing his rampage in The Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers, as well as three mini-series (Cosmic Ghost Rider, Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History, and Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider).
Phillips says that she loves “…the humor and absurdity of Cosmic Ghost Rider, and because he’s a newer character I feel like there’s lots of potential space (pun intended) to push him in new directions. I’m excited to play with Marvel’s cosmic characters and write something that feels really new for me and for Frank Castle as well.”
The first issue starts with a vicious bounty hunter posing as Castle and blaming a number of murders on Cosmic Ghost Rider.
