Batman teams up with heroes, anti-heroes, and villains from all over the Bronze Age DC Universe in the reissued Batman: The Brave and the Bold-The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1.
The new Omnibus (originally released in 2017) collects The Brave and the Bold #74-106 by Bob Haney, Mike Sekowsky, Denny O’Neil, Ross Andru, Mike Esposito, Jack Abel, Neal Adams, Dick Giordano, Irv Novick, Nick Cardy, Jim Aparo, and Frank McLaughlin.
The Brave and the Bold #67 marked DC’s late Silver Age decision to make The Brave and the Bold a Batman exclusive team-up series which really got rolling in the Bronze Age (and in this collection).
The Dark Knight Detective teams (multiple times in some cases) with the Metal Men, the Spectre, Plastic Man, the Atom, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Deadman, the Creeper, the Flash, Aquaman, the Teen Titans, Sgt. Rock, the Joker, Green Arrow, Wildcat, the Phantom Stranger, Adam Strange, Black Canary, the Bat-Squad, Green Lantern, and Metamorpho. Batman also finds time to visit the House of Mystery in a rare, and highly valuable, appearance.
The new edition still contains the foreword by Robert Greenberger.
DC also recently released DC Finest: Team-Ups: The Impossible Escape, which starts with The Brave and the Bold #106.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold-The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1 consists of 904 pages for a suggested retail price $125.00.
