Batman and Bane’s First Showdown Featured in New ‘Batman: Knightfall’ Vol. 1 Omnibus

Journey back to an era when comic books were flying off the shelves faster than DC Comics could kill, damage, and maim their greatest heroes in the new edition of the Batman: Knightfall Vol. 1 Omnibus.

The Knightfall Omnibus collects the start of the storyline and first appearance of Bane in Batman Vengeance of Bane Special, Batman #484-500, Batman: Shadow of the Bat #16-18, Detective Comics #654-666, and Showcase 93 #7-8.

All stories are written by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, and Alan Grant. Art is provided by Graham Nolan, Jim Aparo, Norm Breyfogle, Mike Manley, Tom Mandrake, Tom Grindberg, Michael Netzer, Jim Balent, Klaus Janson, Bret Blevins, Eduardo Barreto, Trevor Scott, Bob Wiacek, Joe Rubinstein, Dick Giordano, Rick Burchett, Scott Hanna, Terry Austin and Luke McDonnell.

Batman was the second hero after the Death of Superman storyline to face the full, unprecedented wrath of his enemies in the boom/bust 1990s, going up against The Joker, Two-Face, the Mad Hatter, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Firefly, and Zsasz, before his fateful showdown with Bane in Arkham Asylum.

The first print of the Knightfall Omnibus was released in 2017, followed by two additional volumes that finished the complete story.

The Batman: Knightfall Vol. 1 Omnibus consists of 960 pages for a back-breaking price of $150.00.
