‘Batman by Tom King’ Omnibus Vol. 1 Collects First Half of Run

Tom King’s extensive work on Batman is collected in the first volume of the Batman by Tom King Omnibus.

Beginning in 2016, the Omnibus collects Batman Rebirth, Batman #1-32, Detective Comics #941-942, Nightwing #5-6, Batman/Elmer Fudd Special, The Flash #21-22, and a King story from Batman Annual #1.

Artists featured in the Omnibus include Mikel Janin, David Finch, Mitch Gerads, Clay Mann, Roge Antonia, Jason Fabok, Andy MacDonald, Howard Porter, Riley Rossmo, Lee Weeks, Ivan Reis, Byron Vaughns, Danny Miki, Matt Banning, Seth Mann, Sandra Hope, Hugo Petrus, Trevor Scott, Scott Hanna, Oclair Albert, Joe Prada, John Livesay, and Clay Mann. Crossover titles are written by Steve Orlando, Joshua Williamson, Scott Snyder, Tim Seeley, and James Tynion IV.

Storyline in the Omnibus include: “I am Gotham”, “Night of the Monster Men”,  “I Am Suicide”, “I Am Bane”, “The Button”, and “The War of Jokes and Riddles”.

Batman also pops the question to Catwoman, which begins a long “will-she-or-won’t she” game of Bat and Cat.

The Omnibus also contains a new introduction by editor and writer Jamie S. Rich.

The Batman by Tom King Omnibus Vol. 1 consists of 984 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.
