Venture back to the early part of the 21st century when Bruce Wayne was accused on murder in the new Batman: Bruce Wayne Murdered Turned Fugitive Omnibus.
The new Omnibus collects 2002’s Batman: The 10 Cent Adventure, Detective Comics #766-775, Batgirl #24, 27, 29, and 33, Nightwing #65-66 and 68-69, Birds of Prey #39-41 and 43, Robin #98-99, Azrael, Agent of the Bat #91-92, and Batman #599-607, and related stories from Batman: Gotham Knights #25-32.
All of the Bat-stories are written by Greg Rucka, Ed Brubaker, Chuck Dixon, Devin Grayson, Kelley Puckett, Denny O’Neil, Geoff Johns, John Francis Moore, and Patton Oswalt.

The intrigue begins when Bruce Wayne is found with the dead body of Vesper Fairchild, and is arrested, imprisoned, and convicted of her murder. Nightwing, Robin, Oracle, Batgirl, Spoiler, and Alfred take to the streets to keep Gotham safe in Bruce’s absence and also try to prove his innocence, although his prison break doesn’t help the defense’s case. Batman is then tasked with clearing his alter ego’s name and finding the true culprit.
The Omnibus also contains an introduction by Michael Wright and an afterword by Greg Rucka.
The storyline was previously collected in 2002, 2005, and in an expanded edition in 2014. The new Omnibus represents the most complete collection to date.
