The Avengers have more “Vision problems” in the new Absolute Vision Epic Collection.
The Avengers: Absolute Vision collects The Avengers #238-254 and The Avengers Annual #13.
All of the stories (published between 1983 and 1985) are written by Roger Stern and Ann Nocenti, with art by Al Milgrom, Bob Hall, Steve Ditko, Carmen Infantino, Joe Sinnott, John Byrne, Joe Rubinstein, Ian Akin, Brian Garvey, Andy Mushynsky, Brett Breeding, Roy Richardson, and Joe Del Beato.
The main Vision-centric story begins when Starfox connects the Vision to Titan’s supercomputer, boosting Vision’s power, but also changing the android’s state-of-mind.
Other highlights include the team’s battle with Morgan Le Fey for Spider-Woman’s soul, Hawkeye’s introduction of his new bride Mockingbird to the Avengers, the disappearance of the team due to Secret Wars which forces the Vision to assemble an all-new group, a storyline involving the Eternals and Inhuman-Deviant menace Maelstrom, a battle with Rom’s traditional villains the Dire Wraiths, problems with a series of Hulk clones, and even an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman.
The Avengers: Absolute Vision consists of 464 pages for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
