The second Ant-Man Epic Collection includes Hank Pym’s (and friends) experiences as a diminutive and extra-large hero in the aptly titled Ant-Man No More Epic Collection.
The Epic Collection contains a variety of stories featuring Pym and Janet Van Dyne from Tales to Astonish #60-69 (picking up right where The Man in the Ant Hill Epic Collection left off) and their early 70s team-ups in Marvel Feature #4-10 and Iron Man #44.
From there, the focus shifts to Pym’s lab partner, Dr. Bill Foster and his alter ego Black Goliath, with his origin story in Power Man and Iron Fist #24-25, his short-lived solo series in Black Goliath #1-5, and guest appearances in The Champions #11-13.
Last but not least, Scott Lang makes his debut as the second Ant-Man in Marvel Premiere #47-48.
The collection (which spans two decades from 1964 to 1979) contains work by notable Marvel talent such as Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Mike Friedrich, Tony Isabella, Bill Mantlo, Chris Claremont, David Michelinie, Leon Lazarus, Al Hartley, Herb Trimpe, P. Craig Russell, Jim Starlin, George Tuska, Ron Wilson, Rich Buckler, Keith Pollard, Bob Hall, John Byrne, Dick Ayers, Steve Ditko, Joe Orlando, Carl Burgos, Bob Powell, Ross Andru, Dan Adkins, Mark Kersey, Jimmy Janes, Frank Bolle, Frank Chiaramonte, Vince Colletta, Fred Kida, Don Heck, Bob Layton, Paul Reinman, George Roussos, Chic Stone, Frank Giacoia, John Giunta, Mike Trimpe, Dave Hunt, and Mike Esposito.
The Ant-Man/Giant Man: Ant-Man No More Epic Collection arrives with a suggested retail price of $44.99 for 504 pages of shrinking and expanding action.
