Grant Morrison and Chas Truog’s groundbreaking Animal Man series is now available in the new Animal Man Compendium.
The elephant-sized trade paperback collects Animal Man #1-26 and Secret Origins#39, consisting of the entirety of Morrison and Truog’s run.
The Compendium also contains additional artwork by Tom Grummett, Paris Cullins, Doug Hazlewood, Mark McKenna, Steve Montano, and Mark Farmer.
Morrison and Truog elevated the C-level DC character to new critical heights in the trippy, self-conscious, and metatextual take on Buddy Baker.
The collected series was previously available in a series of trade editions, a two-volume hardcover set, and as an Omnibus (which contains the same material as the new Compendium).
The Animal Man Compendium weighs in at 704 pages for a suggested retail price of $59.99.
