Physical media has taken a hit in recent years, making DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD releases scarce, but Alien: Romulus director Fede Álvarez wants to reverse this trend with a reach back to the halcyon era of VHS tapes!
A limited edition VHS version of Alien: Romulus will be available with all other physical releases of the film on December 3.
The old-school tape (with a 4:3 aspect ratio) will come in a vintage-style sleeve, featuring art by Matt Ferguson.
20th Century Studios has not announced any details regarding edition size or price, so check back with Conskipper when that information becomes available.
If you are more of a 21st century fan, you can currently download and stream digital versions of the film.
