The Silver Age X-Men battle all manner of human, superhuman, and mutant threats in the reissued Epic Collection titled Lonely Are the Hunted.
The X-Men: Lonely Are the Hunted Epic Collection includes The Uncanny X-Men #24-45 and The Avengers #53 by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, Werner Roth, Dick Ayers, Jack Sparling, Ross Andru, Don Heck, George Tuska, and John Buscema.
The adventures of Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel, and Iceman include the first appearance of Banshee, the brief inclusion of a sixth X-Man, Mimic, the complete Mutant-Master/Factor Three storyline, appearances by Spider-Man, the Avengers, and Quick Silver, the debut of all new costumes for the mutant heroes, and the death of Charles Xavier (which would be the first of many for the creator of the team).
The Uncanny X-Men take on familiar adversaries such as Magneto, Juggernaut, and the Blob, and less frequent foes such as the Locust, El Tigre, Kukulcan, the Super Adaptoid, Cobalt Man, Mekano, the Vanisher, the Subhuman, Red Raven, and even the Frankenstein Monster!
Originally released in 2016, the Epic Collection consists of 520 pages for a suggested retail price of $54.99.
