‘X-Men 2099’ Omnibus Collects Entire Futuristic Series

One of the flagship titles of 1993 to 1996’s Marvel 2099 imprint, X-Men 2099, gets collected in one mammoth Omnibus edition in 2024.

The Omnibus contains all thirty-five issues of the original series written by John Francis Moore with principal artwork by Ron Lim. The collection also a few one-shots and specials such as X-Men 2099: Oasis (written once again by Moore, with art by Greg Hildebrandt & Tim Hildebrandt), X-Men 2099 Special, and Tom Peyer’s X-Nation 2099.

Crossovers between the rest of the 2099 line include Spider-Man 2099 #16, Ravage 2099 #14, Doom 2099 #14, and Punisher 2099 #13.

Other creators whose work is featured in the Omnibus include Peter David, Pat Mills, Tony Skinner, Adam Kubert, , Jim Sanders III, Jimmy Palmiotti, Mark McKenna, Harry Candelario, Hector Collazo, Jan Duursema, Scott Koblish, Rob Hunter, Paul Neary, Jeff Albrecht, Rick Leonardi, Al Williamson, Grant Miehm, Keith Williams, Pat Broderick, John Nyberg, Tom Morgan, and Humberto Ramos.

Just in case you don’t remember what went down with the mutants in 1993 (circa 2099), the team consisted of Xi’an Chi Xan, Meanstreak, Krystalin, Skullfire, Metalhead, Serpentina, Junkpile, and Cerebra.

The X-Men 2099 Omnibus consists of 1,232 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.

After a few delays, the Omnibus is scheduled to released on April 30, 2024.
