The classic DC Comics Wonder Woman Silver Age stories are reprinted for the first time in color in January’s Wonder Woman: The Silver Age Omnibus Vol. 1.
The first volume begins with 1958’s Wonder Woman #98 (“The Million Dollar Penny”) and concludes with Wonder Woman #123 (“Amazon Magic Eye Album”), featuring the scripting of Robert Kanigher and the art of Ross Andru (with inks by Mike Esposito).
In typical Silver Age fashion, Wonder Woman uncovers a number of mysteries and battles a host of giants, monsters, and over-sized animals. The volume also contains a number of Wonder Girl stories, featuring a teenaged Diana “learning the ropes” (or lassos if you prefer).
The hardcover edition will be released on January 4, contains 696 pages, and retails for $99.99.
